Brand identity and website · one person · two weeks

Your work outgrew your website.

You've spent years building real credibility. Whoever finds you online sees something that doesn't match. Nordlicht closes that gap.

Nordlicht. Working in the long light.

A brand identity and a website, built and shipped in fourteen days. One person, start to finish.

What the brand says before you do.

Most brands are a logo and a website doing an impression of a brand.

The font says one thing. The photos say another. The copy was written at midnight. Nobody decides to distrust you. They quietly move on to the next tab.

What holds a brand together is a consistent eye.

Same voice, same logic, the same decision about what matters, applied to every surface. That's what makes a search result match the room.

That's what I build. The whole surface, not a logo. Two weeks, not three months.

How it gets built in two weeks.

Most of a branding project isn't design. It's alignment meetings, internal reviews, and change requests on the change requests. I cut that out.

I
Days one through three

Foundation

One call, one questionnaire, one shared document. By day three the direction is locked and signed off. Everything that follows builds on that.

II
Days four through nine

Build

Identity first, then site. You see everything once halfway through, we adjust, then I finish. No check-ins in between. The hundred small decisions that separate built-on-purpose from generic happen here.

III
Days ten through fourteen

Launch

We test every page. On day fourteen it goes live. Every file, every asset, and the reasoning behind each decision.

Who this is for.

This is for you if

  • You've built real expertise or a real business. The online presence doesn't show it yet.
  • You have a launch, a pitch, or a repositioning in the next sixty days that can't look provisional.
  • You'd rather work with one person who makes decisions than a team that schedules meetings about them.
  • You know what you're building. You want it built.

Not a fit if

  • You want to review ten logo concepts across six weeks.
  • The decision runs through a committee.
  • You're shopping on price.
  • You have a finished brief and want it executed exactly as written.

Why one person.

Nordlicht is one person. That's the point, not the constraint.

Every handoff in a branding project is a place the idea gets diluted. Strategist to designer, designer to developer, everyone back to the client. Each step loses something. One person doing the whole thing means the idea gets built, not translated.

The clients I work with have already built something real. Entrepreneurs, executives, practitioners with years of credibility that their online presence doesn't yet reflect. My job is to build the surface that finally matches it.

The studio is named for the northern light. Clear, cold, slow to fade. That's the standard for the work.

Questions.

The design itself was never the slow part. The slow part is alignment meetings, internal reviews, deck presentations, and change requests on the change requests. One person doing the work end to end removes all of it. What's left fits in two weeks because that's what the work actually takes.

No. There are excellent designers who sell logos. A logo on its own doesn't close the gap that's costing you. If you want a brand that holds together across every surface, we should talk.

Yes. The full cost of The Read comes off First Light if you book within thirty days.

The sprint pauses and picks up when you're ready. The timeline is yours to hold.

I write the structural copy. Taglines, section headers, the short lines that make a site read like someone built it on purpose. Long body copy is yours to bring, or I bring in a writer. The Read tells you exactly what you need.

All of it. Every file, every asset, the guidelines, the source. Nothing is held back and nothing is locked to a subscription.

Then start with The Read. It tells you whether the surface is the real problem or whether something underneath needs to settle first. No point building a brand around a thing that's still moving.

Remote, working with clients anywhere a video call reaches.

Not ready to start?

Once a month I take apart one brand that gets the surface right and one that gets it wrong, and show the difference in plain terms. No pitch. Leave your email if that's useful to you.

One email a month. Leave whenever you want.

Start a project.

A twenty-minute call. I'll come prepared. If it fits, we start the following Monday.
